Hey there was this rumor on the radio a few days ago saying that A & F workers are not aloud to talk to fat people when they are in the store because nothing there will fit them. The radio also said they got this from a girl that used to work at Abercrombie and Fitch and she said it was in their conduct book or whatever you want to call it. When I heard this I thought it wasnt very suprising because most of there sizes are so small. I was just wondering for anyone who works there now if this was true? Also does anyone know what age you have to be to work at Abercrombie. I know I will probably never be asked to work there but still I was just curious.

Thanks,
~Jane

its interesting that u would hear a rumour like that, just because im not really skinny myself but the manager asked me if i wanted to work there. i thought that big folks were aloud to work there, and he said it wasnt true.

Yea I thought that was weird...I am skinny (actually i still cant fit into a&f jeans haha) but I think that was weird that the radio people would say that and then say that another girl told them. I think they just made it up. But even though this is off topic of what I was talking about.....what do you have to do to get a job there?

LISTEN TO ME

FIRST OF all were the hell did you hear this rumer, this is so fucking stupid, People just think that because they think highly of our store and they feel really shitty, thats not in the friggin hand book also about not talking to fat people.

personaly i dont talk to fat people but i still do talk to them at work, i would say hi and try to comment them on anything they need.
to make them feel comfortable, at least they had the big fat guts to come in our store. without trying our cloths on and ripping them woith there fat

We're supposed to greet and be nice to everyone who comes into our store, regardless of what they look. In fact, if our district manager ever comes in & catches us purposely ignoring a customer then she'll yell at us for it.

Ask

If you comment on my friend goya789's journal entries or just go to mine ,and I'll post something up to get your question answered about how old you have to be to work at Abecrombie&Fitch. My friend Victor (goya789) knows one of the managers there and he's going to get a job there. Go to ftch911's journal. That's where I'll post it up ,and he'll answer your question.
